TRADITIONAL INTERPRETATION
Ji Earth with Chou and Wei: supporting rules
The civil-date reference is 庚寅, 己丑, 己未. Repeated Ji Earth and the support images of Chou and Wei can frame the conditions that allow rules to keep operating; Geng Metal introduces their practical methods. The hour is unknown. Earth does not dictate legal scholarship or guarantee a treaty’s success.
Teaching law explains rules; signing a treaty adds implementation, coordination and public explanation. Earth and Metal can ask whether knowledge extends into actual constraints: who performs an obligation, how conflicts are handled and what procedure preserves a promise. Legal and institutional records, rather than a distinguished résumé, must answer.
EDITORIAL REFLECTION
After a signature comes implementation
A specialist entering public office gains opportunity and responsibility together. These dates make a signature visible without treating it as the end of the work. A commitment between states depends on implementation and correction. Understanding a rule should also mean remaining subject to its tests, rather than claiming exemption through expertise.
