NINEHOUND / 九狗万象
About NineHound
Classical ideas, birth charts and present questions. A public website for exploring traditional culture.
I Ching: one question at a time
Write down the choice or situation you want to examine. Cast a hexagram, then read its text, changing line and resulting hexagram. The interpretation addresses the question you asked: your present circumstances, the direction of change and possible next actions.
Ask a question ↗Birth charts: circumstances and life stages
Use your birth date, time and place to explore BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu. Readings address character, longer life themes and near-term trends. School, work and family involve different circumstances, so the interpretation uses the person’s age and supplied context. Check uncertain birth details before relying on a precise chart interpretation.
Explore your birth chart ↗The journal: ideas in the context of a life
Read introductory guides, classical fables and stories of people’s choices. We examine the circumstances around a decision, its reasons and its consequences. References are collected at the end of each story, and unknown birth times remain unknown. Start with our full stories of Ford, Chaplin and Jolie, then follow the related themes.
Browse the journal ↗Free tools: choose what you need
The tool library brings together zodiac, lunar-calendar and solar-term lookups, astrology, moon phases and cultural activities. Each tool explains its inputs and how to read its result. Ranking pages distinguish measured tool use from editorial recommendations and state their basis.
