Calculation and editorial work
The calendar tools use the open-source lunar-javascript library, pinned to version 1.7.7. Text and code were prepared with AI assistance and checked against stated rules and public references. These checks are not a claim of certification by a calendar authority or a guarantee for every historical or future date.

What we check
Our regression examples include the 2024 and 2026 Lunar New Year boundaries, ordinary and leap second months in 2023, date round trips, impossible dates and absent leap months, nominal age across Lunar New Year, and Zi-hour transitions at 23:00 and 01:00. The forms support Gregorian dates from 1901 through 2099. Far-future astronomical boundaries can have uncertainty; compare important dates with an authoritative calendar.
Different tools answer different questions
Zodiac uses Lunar New Year. Nominal age uses lunar-year difference plus one. Double hours use the entered clock without geographical correction. The separate life-chart experience uses historical time zones, longitude and solar terms. We state those choices because blending them would hide meaningful differences.

We investigate reproducible discrepancies before changing the method. These calendar tools do not verify hidden facts or guarantee personal outcomes.
