One sky, two arrivals
Start with one birth date or add a second person. The paired view brings two lunar discs together as a keepsake. It does not assign a relationship score or infer whether two people belong together.
The Moon is calculated; the card is composed
Astronomy Engine calculates the geocentric phase angle and illuminated fraction at the selected instant. The disc is a simplified astronomical diagram with a fixed orientation, not a photograph or a reconstruction of what was visible above the birthplace’s horizon. Local sky rotation, clouds and terrain are not pictured.
When you do not know the time
Leave the clock time empty and the tool uses local noon as a labelled sample. A whole birth date is not one astronomical instant. The lunar phase changes through the day; the card keeps the uncertainty visible. A city supplies its historical time-zone rules, not an assumed present-day offset.
A small gift that stays with you
Nicknames are optional. Dates, names and the generated card stay in this page; saving creates an image on your device. The sentence on the card is NineHound’s own literary caption, separate from the astronomical measurements.
