Which date should I enter?
Enter the original Gregorian birth date. We recover its lunar month, day and leap-month label, then find that anniversary in your chosen lunar year. A late lunar month can fall in January of the next Gregorian year.
What happens to a leap-month birthday?
The default keeps the leap-month label. If that month does not exist in the selected year, the tool returns no matching date. You may explicitly choose the ordinary month instead. For someone born on March 22, 2023, the strict rule has no match in 2024; ordinary month 2 gives March 10, 2024.
What if day 30 is missing?
The default returns no matching date for a 30th-day birthday in a 29-day month. Select the last-day convention only if that is how your family celebrates. The result tells you when an adjustment was made.
