Paper has a shape of its own
Twenty-one bamboo ribs set the fan geometry. Individual paper pleats carry alternating light and shade, fine fibres and a darker crease. The opening slider changes the angular spread without any automatic animation.
Leave a line on the paper
Add up to 24 Unicode characters and choose pine green black, soot, indigo or vermilion ink. The inscription appears when the fan is opened to at least 35%, and its font scales to the available paper width. A mostly closed fan intentionally keeps its words hidden. The text is modern device typography, not historical calligraphy.
Keep the exact opening
The current title, inscription and opening angle are rendered into a 1200 × 1000 PNG. Use the slider with arrow keys or touch, and Reset to return to the starting sample. This is an original digital fan composition, with no claim of physical craft or historical reproduction.
