One Ember, One Interval

Make a little room for time to pass. Let the ember mark the edge of your attention.

Opening your little corner of the world…

A FIRST LOOK

Give fifteen minutes a shape.

Set a duration, start the ember and let the interval pass.

Choose the interval first

Set a whole-minute duration from 5 to 60, then Start. Pause holds the elapsed time; Resume continues from it. Reset clears elapsed time and unlocks the duration. At completion the timer stops and does not automatically begin another interval.

Time follows a timestamp

The timer measures elapsed time from your device’s timestamps. It continues while this tab is hidden; its display catches up when the tab returns. Changing the device clock can affect this measure. The state is not stored persistently. Reloading or opening a new page resets it; returning to a cached page may restore it. It is not an alarm guaranteed to run after the page closes.

Powder, glaze and a small glow

The ceramic plate and incense powder are original digital illustrations. The ember’s position maps directly to elapsed progress; this is not a physical simulation or claim about a real incense seal’s burn time. A faint smoke study accompanies the ember. Saving captures the timer’s current artwork and state.
