Three Coins, Six Lines

A whole figure begins with one small fall. Three coins, then three again.

Opening your little corner of the world…

A FIRST LOOK

One cast is a beginning. Six make a figure.

Let three bronze coins settle, read the line, and cast the next.

Six casts, from the ground up

Each cast shows three coin faces. A yin face counts 2 and a yang face counts 3. Totals 6 and 8 make a broken yin line; 7 and 9 make a solid yang line. Lines accumulate from bottom to top, with a separate click for each cast.

What changes, exactly

6 is changing yin and 9 is changing yang. These lines flip to form the relating figure; 7 and 8 stay as they are. The base and relating figures use the site’s existing 64-hexagram canon. With no changing lines they are the same figure.

A coin method, honestly shown

Three fair independent coins give totals 6, 7, 8 and 9 with probabilities 1/8, 3/8, 3/8 and 1/8. The page uses browser randomness. Its original bronze coins are contemporary illustrations, not antique replicas. This is a traditional structure to explore, not evidence about future events. Save the current artwork or start a new sequence.
