A Landscape in One Line

A bend of your hand becomes a ridge. Leave room for the mist to do the rest.

Opening your little corner of the world…

A FIRST LOOK

One line. A place of your own.

Draw a ridge, add another, and let the pale space between them become mist.

Your line makes the mountain

Draw across the paper. Each stroke becomes a ridge filled with a translucent ink wash. The tool sorts points from left to right and smooths the curve, so the result is a composed landscape rather than an exact reproduction of your gesture.

Space is part of the composition

Pale ridges suggest distance; darker layers carry the foreground. This is an original digital composition inspired by ink and paper, with no claim to reproduce a historical painting or a specific school of brushwork.

A different way to draw

Use a ridge example or focus the drawing surface: arrow keys move the cursor, Space begins or finishes a ridge, and Escape cancels it. Undo removes the last ridge. Clear leaves a blank sheet. Saving exports the current paper, title and ink.
