The timer measures elapsed timestamps rather than counting animation frames. Pause freezes the elapsed duration; resume continues from that point. Changing the duration while paused begins a fresh timing period.
A record of this tea session
When a pour finishes, its chosen seconds and actual completion timestamp enter the local session history. The next pour is ready to start. Reset clears only the active pour. The history is not persistently saved; reloading resets it. Browser back/forward caching may restore a previous page session. Up to 30 completed pours are retained.
A quiet table
This original digital scene depicts glazed pottery, warm tea, steam and textured wood; it is not presented as documentary photography. There are no audio alerts. The timer automatically pauses while the page is hidden. This tool gives timing controls, not brewing safety, dosage or health claims.
