Breathing Lantern

Leave a little light on for yourself. Let it open, let it soften. There is nothing to finish.

Opening your little corner of the world…

A FIRST LOOK

One breath, one small light.

Set a comfortable rhythm. Light the paper lantern and follow at your own pace.

Choose a pace that feels easy

The controls allow 2–8 seconds in and 2–10 seconds out, without breath holds. The paper lantern grows and brightens during the inhale, then softens during the exhale. Follow your own comfort; the lamp is a visual rhythm, not a prescribed exercise or medical treatment.

Time follows the clock

Phases are calculated from elapsed timestamps rather than a number of rendered frames. Pause preserves the current position; reset returns to the beginning. Changing the pace pauses and resets the rhythm. The page pauses automatically when hidden, and it resumes only with another click.

The lamp can stay still

Reduced-motion preferences keep the lantern still while phase and remaining seconds appear as text. You can also choose this mode manually. Saving creates a still artwork with the current pace settings; it does not certify practice, count completed sessions or promise an effect.
